Sports performance training is a method of training to positively influence the physical variables that impact an athlete’s performance such as strength, speed, agility, and mobility. At MettaPerformance, we work with athletes to expand skills and capabilities that compliment their natural talents. We start by building a relationship with each athlete to better understand individual motivations, skills, and areas for improvement, giving us the opportunity to create unique training strategies tailored to athletes’ individual needs and goals. Our goal is to bring the elite level of performance training enjoyed by professional and olympic athletes to the athletes of El Paso.

About Our Name

Meta and Metta

Meta means goal in Spanish, while Metta means loving-kindness in Sanskrit. We are guided by Metta in how we serve and support our athletes. Our athletes’ game performance is a reflection of their relationship with their body and how they’ve treated and trained it. Treating the body with loving-kindness (metta) allows them to reach their goals (meta) by performing their best.
